Hotel Ursa

Had to watch my son do his master's defense thesis on campus. Extremely convenient to stay here on campus. Place was beautiful with so much architecture. Room was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

My son wanted to visit the U of Maine campus. I thought it was a great location being on campus. The check in was great friendly he suggested some nice resturaunts (good choices) the room was superb clean modern quiet comfortable the cafe has delious coffee and pasteries The staff was friendly and helpful

You can't beat the location if you are visiting the University of Maine. Rooms are super clean and everyone is very friendly. I wish their cafe stayed open longer (closes at 10am) but there are lots of food options on campus (at least when the semester is going on).

Loved my room, good amenities. Check in was easy though the fellow checking me in seemed a bit checked out and didn't offer me any extra information about the hotel, gym, cafe etc. Hotel was quiet but as I was there on a Monday/tuesday evening I'm not surprised. Room - clean but, there weren't any coffee cups for my 'in-room' coffee maker, I could have walked over to get them at the desk but decided to wait until the Major Minor coffee bar opened at 7. I found the 'throw', that goes on the end of the bed, crumpled in a corner, tossed behind the reading chair. There wasn't any information in the room about ordering food or local restaurants. Bathroom - clean and everything looked fresh and new. There is a lovely little lounge right next to the coffee bar, if you had guests coming over it would be a great place to sit and chat. I didn't get a chance to use the gym but it looked clean and inviting, there is a water dispenser in the gym for refilling your bottles if you prefer filtered water. Check out was excellent, the young lady who was behind the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Note - there will be a $ hold put on your ccard when you check in that might be more than your stay, it does drop off. Overall a very nice spot, close to where I needed to be and I will be back. Excellent room for the cost.

We had a great stay at Hotel Ursa! We stayed in the historic dorm across the street and it was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the campus is just gorgeous. We also enjoyed breakfast at the cafe.

Located on University of Maine campus. It gave us an advantage to walking around and checking out the college. The room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the staff was exceptional. They were professional and courteous from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Out of state mom w sick student on campus needing privacy. From the moment Randall picked up the phone, even my numerous calls he was the absolute BEST!! Kind, accommodating, helpful and made me feel less anxious. His customer service was the absolute best, he went above and beyond! My line of work is extremely high level customer/patient service based-it’s apparent Randall possesses high level qualities in his profession. Thank you!!

Staying on campus was very convenient! We were within walking distance of the Union Building, and the musical we attended.
